As part of their month long cover story on the game, Game Informer has uploaded their first new video of the title in action, showing off a new area for the first time since E3. The video involves Link jumping off Skyloft and calling his bird, flying to a marked location in the clouds, and skydiving and parachuting to the area below. Game Informer says that traveling the world will consist of not only flying to marked areas in the sky, but also setting your own markers to find secret areas to explore as well.

This almost confirms a long held suspicion that Skyward Sword will not feature a traditional Zelda overworld and will instead use the sky as a sort of HUB world that you fly to predetermined destinations to parachute down to the world on.
