EGM: Tingle RPG to North America in 2007
02-06-2007
By: TSA
In the latest EGM issue, 213, there is a preview of upcoming 2007 titles for all the major consoles.

While the Wii titles came as no surprise, the DS section not only mentions Phantom Hourglass this summer (in contrast Game Informer's revelation that it would be pushed back to this fall), but also says Tingle will be in his own game by the end of the year in North America.

We're placing our bet that this "Tingle" game is just Tingle RPG, which is already translated into English according to European media outlets.

Nice. I'm actually interested in this game.

Okay Europeans, you're allowed to say that we get everything again.

So glad to hear it.

But... by the end of the year?! It's already in English!

Why couldn't it be out before summer?

Thank you Nintendo of America, thank you!!! I don't have to import anymore! I thought for sure they listened to the majority that didn't want it to come here!

I would of been excited about 2 months ago, but now after having my Wii for months and seeing what TP gave to the world, I just can't get excited about Zelda and Nintendo news. To much of a let down and to much of a chance for future let downs.

Don't know if I'll get it... to many other games that are good because there good, not because they have the name Zelda attached to them that are good.

I was also a bit dissapointed about Twilight princess, but I still got hope for the series.

But why should it take that long for Tingle rpg to hit America? And that also means that we Europeans are getting it in (god forbid) 2008. I think I have to import this one!

But wait, that means two Zelda games, Phantom Hourglass and Tingle RPG. Normally around that time of the year, I'm nearly broke and is using all the money I have left for Christmas gifts. *grumbles*

Game Informer said there was a new Zelda in development for Wii. They said Phantom Hourglass was pushed back to October 15th, 2007.

Land of the Legend reported on EGM's "rumor mill" section, which said Tingle would be in his own Wii game, which is based on the fact he got his own game in Japan on DS and it sold pretty well there. However, it was just a guess, it was not even "leaked" info from a source of anything.

Yay! Tingle's relevant again! Any chance of us getting to kick the crap out of the host of the STAR game that tried to steal his place in Twilight Princess?

Tingle's coming to America? Awsome!

As for Phantom Hourglass, it was inevitable that I'd get it so I was willing to wait.

First time it was stated by a magazine, and second time it was stated by a magazine. Until NINTENDO says anything no matter what the magazines says it's just a wild guess.
